Charles Butterworth (1846-1927) was my great-grandfather through his son Louis Virgil Butterworth, and Louis' son Allen Virgil Butterworth. I came upon a partial copy of his autobiography amoung my parent's papers. The autobiography consists of 42 pages, numbered 1 to 43 (page 25 is missing, apparently due to misnumbering). My version terminates mid-sentence at the end of page 43, leading me to believe there was originally more than I now possess. If any descendants of Charles (or other interested parties) are in possession of a more complete version of this document, please let me know.
